Massimo Poli is President, Global Home and Personal Care at Colgate-Palmolive, responsible for overseeing the home care and personal care categories, and the strategies for the key brands in those categories.
Prior to this role, Massimo was Executive Vice-President & General Manager, Colgate-Palmolive Mexico, one of the Company’s largest subsidiaries with a strong presence in the Oral Care, Personal Care and Home Care markets.
Massimo joined Colgate-Palmolive Italy in 1989 and progressed through roles of increasing responsibility in Marketing. In 1998, he moved to Global Business Development, based in New York, and the following year was promoted to Marketing Director, CP-Turkey. Massimo moved to CP-Venezuela in 2002 as Marketing Director and, in 2005, became Marketing Director, Latin America Division.
In 2007, Massimo was promoted to General Manager, CP-Dominican Republic. In 2009, he was promoted to Vice President & General Manager, CP-Nordic Group. In 2011, he led the acquisition of Sanex Brand in Europe and successfully led the integration and growth plans of that business.
In 2014, he became Vice President and General Manager, CP-UK & Ireland and then moved to the Latin America Division as Vice President, Marketing.
Massimo holds a Business Administration degree from Bocconi University and a Certificate in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors, London.
