Fraudulent Scam Communications

From time to time, Colgate-Palmolive Company learns of people falsely claiming to represent Colgate in solicitations for a bogus promotion or sweepstakes. As part of the scam, consumers must make a payment in order to claim a prize. When we learn of these instances, we report them to the appropriate responsible authorities.

The Colgate-Palmolive Company would never ask consumers for money as part of a promotion. Unfortunately, however, it is not uncommon for popular consumer brands such as ours to be used as part of a scam.
