Celebrating belonging means recognizing every voice and unique story. Our events and initiatives foster connection and create spaces where everyone feels valued.

At Colgate-Palmolive, we are driven by our purpose to reimagine a healthier future for all people, their pets and our planet. The Company is committed to fostering a sense of belonging that embodies our purpose and values, which are essential to how we drive innovation and growth. We celebrate differences, emphasize the importance of inclusion and belonging for everyone and value the contributions of all Colgate-Palmolive people. We are proud of our collaborative spirit - what we call The Power of WE.

A culture of belonging is deeply embedded and evident throughout every aspect of our workplace. This commitment ensures that every individual's unique story and voice are not only acknowledged but truly valued, fostering an environment where all feel seen and heard. We are proud to celebrate World Inclusion Day on October 10, encouraging all employees to reflect on why inclusion is so important to our company culture.

At Colgate-Palmolive, listening is a cornerstone of our inclusive culture, helping us to better innovate and respond effectively to the needs of our consumers, customers and teams.  We host listening sessions around the world, fostering open dialogue with Colgate-Palmolive People and providing opportunities to understand their needs and hear their feedback. This reflects our deep commitment to teamwork and excellence, and strengthens the sense of unity and shared purpose across our operations.  At Colgate-Palmolive's global manufacturing facilities, we often host listening sessions between operational employees and leadership, encouraging mutual trust and collaboration.

These global examples demonstrate how listening shapes our strategies and strengthens our connections, helping us grow together and deliver smiles worldwide.

We are proud to celebrate International Women's Month, Pride, and the International Day of Persons with Disabilities throughout our global offices, celebrating our differences and emphasizing inclusion for everyone.

Colgate Women’s Network chapters around the globe spearhead our International Women's Month programming,  leading events focused on empowerment and well-being.

During this year’s Pride celebration, Colgate-Palmolive highlighted employee quotes, sharing why our company value of inclusion is so critical to our culture. Colgate-Palmolive People from across geographies shared why taking time to recognize Pride Month is important to them and to highlight how our Company advances inclusion and belonging for all.

And, for International Day of Persons with Disabilities in 2024, the Colgate Abilities Network (CAN) Employee Resource Group hosted a discussion with John D. Kemp, President & CEO of Lakeshore Foundation, to discuss disability culture and how it celebrates the similarities and uniqueness of people with disabilities. John,  who has decades of experience in the disability movement as a disabled leader, provided powerful insights to employees as he shared his own experiences in the workplace.

In Mexico, since 2013 the team has supported a  "Growing Our Leaders" program in partnership with Harvard Business Publishing Corporate Learning. The program teaches  managers to act in harmony with their identity, aspirations and leadership style. The initiative equipped managers with the tools to navigate well-being and resilience, ensuring they could support their teams with empathy and strength.  And in Dublin, employees eager to connect on a deeper level learned basic sign language to communicate across the Colgate-Palmolive world.

All of these programs highlight how Colgate-Palmolive is continuously striving to foster a workplace where everyone feels welcomed, can be their authentic selves, and truly thrive. This commitment to belonging is a vibrant tapestry woven with global celebrations and open conversations.
