Responsible and Sustainable Sourcing of Palm Oil
At Colgate-Palmolive we support a vision for a future without deforestation. Responsible Soy Procurement Policy
As part of Colgate-Palmolive’s strategy to combat climate change and biodiversity loss, we are committed to an environmentally and socially responsible global soy supply chain. Colgate recognizes that soybean is one of the key commodities responsible for the majority of deforestation globally, and is a signatory to the Cerrado Manifesto Statement of Support.1 To guide implementation of Colgate’s overarching No Deforestation Policy within the soy supply chain, this commodity-specific policy outlines our commitment and vision for responsible sourcing of soy-based materials. Respecting Human Rights and Labor Rights: Modern Slavery Statement
Colgate-Palmolive is required under the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act of 2010 to disclose efforts that we have taken to eliminate human trafficking and slavery from our supply chains. Policy on Conflict Minerals
Colgate-Palmolive supports ending the violence and human rights violations by armed groups in the Democratic Republic of Congo and neighboring countries that has been funded in part by proceeds from the mining of cassiterite, columbite-tantalite , wolframite and gold, including their derivatives, tin, tantalum and tungsten.
